QUALIFIED ELECTRICIANS WANTED - Dorset
A number of exciting and challenging opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a qualified electrician. We are a growing business based in Dorset servicing a range of commercial and domestic contracts.
We are currently looking for qualified , dynamic and experienced electricians to carry out electrical repair work (not appliances) to domestic and commercial properties in the Dorset area.
To be successful, applicants should have experience working independently; without prompting or assistance. The role will suit a self-motivated, ambitious individual who thrives on a challenge and varied nature of the job.
Job Duties:
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring.
- Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems and ensure installations are to manufacturers standards, including fire alarm systems.
- Rewire faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems and alarms.
- Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes and follows safety requirements.
- Work alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without receiving explicit direction.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer any customer questions.
- Install electrical systems to the 18th edition wiring regulations, including installing heating and cooling systems.
- Possess working knowledge of IEE regulations, City & Guilds 2360 and 2382 qualifications, inspection and testing certificate (2391) or similar.
- Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid UK driver’s license
- A valid 18th Edition BS7671 Certificate
- A valid inspection and testing certificate (2391) or similar
- ECS card and IPAF beneficial but not required

Salary £38 000 – £42 000pa will be determined by experience and position offered.
